SK Customs partners with Springfield Armory and releases “Michelangelo,” the first installment in the Early Italian Renaissance limited-edition pistol series.​

The new pistol series will kick off by featuring Michelangelo, which marks Springfield Armory’s first engravers model 1911 stainless chambered in .45 ACP, and the first installment of a four-part collection of handguns inspired by the art and innovation featured in the early years of the Italian Renaissance.

Also included in the Early Italian Renaissance Series is a collection of limited-edition engravers model 1911 pistols dubbed the “Gold Series.” This limited batch will consist of only 25 completed series sets with consecutive series numbers and matching edition numbers. These sets will also contain a matching limited-edition engraved 24-karat gold etched blades—numbered to match each set—by knife maker Coltellerie Maserin.
