Love my RDS’s on my rifle platforms.
Cannot stand them on my pistol platforms. Tried 4 different manufacturers of RDS on 4 of my diff pistols for a week at the range from some “loaner” red dots.
Absolutely hated them on my pistols.
i’ll stay with traditional sights

Great article. I have red dots on some of my ARs and on my target Ruger Mark I. I have always had great luck with them. The red dot on the Ruger is one of the original Tasco's and it still works great after all these years. Son in Alaska has RMR on several of his pistols and seems to like them.
