Smith & Wesson Announces the New Dual Tube M&P12 Pullpup Shotgun

Good read Anni. I bet you that this shotgun would be a beast when using slugs.
Oh yea, not a shotgunner here, but this look kinda neat, almost like the one John Wick used in his first movie.

That is definitely the KSG.

I'm not sure how many of the M&Ps they're going to sell for $1200. Maybe quite a few to those people that can't seem to figure out how not to short stroke their KSGs. Until they figure out the M&Ps will have the same issue.

I paid $800 for the KSG25. I have no issues with short stroking it or failures. AT least not in the first 1500 or so rounds.

The price is definitely what got my attention. I like innovative designs and am a sucker for cool guns. The problem with the $1200 price tag is that I don't have enough use for this gun to justify the money. Only one of my local ranges allows shotguns, and that range only allows slugs. At current prices, this would make the gun very expensive to feed.

I've always been a proponent of shotguns for home defense. The issue I see with the M&P12 is that I can buy some excellent HD shotguns from major brands for $300-&500. My budget-friendly 20" Mossberg Maverick 88 Security is one of my favorite pumpguns, and it is back to being widely available for $229. Many of the Stevens 320 offerings, which I also like, are now showing up for $169 or less. For the price of one M&P I could put a Maverick 88 or Stevens in every room of my house.

At this point, the M&P12 is on my list of guns to buy if I suddenly strike it rich, but I don't expect to put one in my safe anytime soon. It would also have to wait until after I picked up a Benelli M4 (another great John Wick Gun).
