Smith & Wesson R8: Above and Beyond the Iconic Model 19

Imo I would buy the R8 just for the more round count and the larger frame especially if you feed it a steady diet of .357's.
I like S&W revolvers, but I don't know if I would ever buy a new one, their QC department passes their job to the consumer.
Many new firearms have scratches, tool marks, dinged up at the muzzle and canted barrels.
According to a lot of forums firearms have been sent back and CS says it's normal tolerance.
Do a little more due diligence if you buy one.
Like I said this is my opinion others may have good luck.

This is what I have experienced.
Somehow I didn't think it was funny.
My last S&W was the newly reintroduce model 66, brought it home, took it to the range, couldn’t shoot double action cause it went out of time after 5 rounds.....I know what you mean.

Then S&W CS gave me a rough time, took it to my gunsmith who used to be a S&W warranty repair station, he fixed it and did a trigger job for $45.00, well worth it to me.

Ok, my bad, I found out if you just double tap the like button it will show just a like, I must have hit the laughing icon, didn’t noticed that I did, sorry, will correct it.
