Social Distancing Activities

What activities is everyone doing to maintain a semblance of sanity, yet still practicing "social distancing"? The 13 yr old grandson and I decided to take advantage of the decent weather and go fishing. No bites, but still nice to get some fresh air and sunshine.

Nice weather this weekend got to do some yard work. Got to take the 2yr. old grandson on the tractor. Clean out the shed and put together a yard sweeper took a little longer than planned with the grandson helping. Taking tools and parts and running away ( Mine )

You are living large @KillerFord1977 although I will admit, drum brakes are a pain.

The weather hasn't been the best in the northeast. I am trying to keep the kids from going crazy. They are all out of sorts,. Going bike riding with the boy. Watching more TV with them than is normal for me. Going on a lot of walks. As soon as the weather gets a little nicer I plan on spending a lot of time paddling around in a kayak with them.

I am continuing to clean and get rid of things I don’t need or haven’t used or touched in ages.

I had a couple tables reserved at our local gun club's show that was supposed to happen last weekend...think I’m going to start going through and seeing what extra extraneous gear I’ve accumulated over the years can go...

I suspect I’ll need a couple more tables by the time this is done.

Yardwork. Lots and lots of yardwork. My house, and a house I'm trying to sell (timing...). Good thing I love being outdoors!

Cleaning the garage. Updating maintenance on motorcycles and cars. Trying to resurrect a dead riding mower (to maintain that house for sale, so I don't have to drag a trailer down there every week to mow). Playing with my dogs, who also love being outside in nice weather.

Looking forward to getting back on the mountain bike as well. Try to shave some of this damn pudge off my middle section!

When I am not at work I have been relaxing. On the weekends I have been slowly cleaning a few things up. Eventually I will have to load some stuff up to take to storage.

My life has remained normal, for the most part. Since I live in the country I might go a week or longer without talking face to face with another person, so this 'social distancing' thing is an everyday fact of life for me. Plenty to do around this place to keep me occupied.

I’m right with you Tenbones! Plenty to do around the place, and like you say, we are following the social distancing guidelines (like we do every day)! Lots of rain, everything looks good and green. Praise the Lord!
