I get your point and agree with you wholeheartedly, but I'm pretty sure the majority don't give a damn about or object to any of those names. It's just that right now it seems to be the politically correct thing to do.
Those names being used for these things of importance have never been intended as an insult to anyone, nor any group. They are typically used in reverence to, or in high regards to, the origin of the name. And I can say all that since it hits pretty close to home for about 25% of me. Sad, sad, but true!

s about the name of the football team. Many of them think it's actually kinda cool. The problem is, white folk being offended for the Native Americans.
