This is a great post, I watched this whole podcast previously.
I agree with you but I won't limit it to BLM and Antifa. There are a lot of misguided people throwing around incendiary and partisan rhetoric, a lot of it false or overblown, from many different points of view. Those people need to knock that **** off straight away because they aren't going to like where it goes if they keep it up. There are a lot of folks proviking conflict or who talk about how they want civil strife or a civil war, but when they actually find themselves fighting for their life in a dark street or driving to a loved one's house with a .45 loaded with hollowpoints because they don't think the LEOs are going to get there in time and they might have to do some dirt they'll learn it's not pleasant. Everyone, from all quarters, should start trying to lower the temperature on the double quick and pull in the same direction before, as you say, a lot more of us have to understand what Dakota Meyer is talking about.Disclaimer: my thoughts below are not meant to be a political statement directed at any party but more of a reflection of current society itself so everyone please refrain from the political banter.
My thoughts:
I cannot understand how the Antifa & BLM socialist groups are out in force every night burning, looting, and attacking anyone they feel is against their cause and talking about burning the system down and labeling everyone a fascist who won't bow down and show them support. They really have no idea the real hate they are spreading towards other fellow Americans or what a fascist really is otherwise they would never look into a mirror again. What happened to the days where you could have a civil debate with someone in this country regardless of their political affiliation? The country is experiencing real dangerous divide currently and if this course continues and I hope & pray it does not, I feel a lot more American's may understand what Dakota Meyer experienced first hand.
Please do not misinterpret me as I would never intend this to be taken as a call to arms but more a thought of what can happen with society if things continue to spiral down as the violence and extremism escalates.
