someone, or all just got fired

My Son worked as a First Mate Captian Apprentice for a fishing company in Alaska. Apparently recently they made a requirement of an item on the end of the nets that kept Killer Wakes from getting take. Into the nets. Another company boat got caught by the coast guard for the second time not using them. Heavy $$ fine both times but 2nd was the company was restricted from deep sea fishing not sure how lone.

My Sons Boat who was not involved (it was one crew out of 5 that couldn’t follow the rules) the company ported the Sons crew and sent them back to the lower 48’s
But kept the guilty crew up there.

So companies in the Us anyway probably wouldn’t fire them.

Son has an interview with other maritime companies he was like we didn’t even do anything and we are the ones not getting paid now so I’m not doing this Bs.

He’s sort of burned out with the production goals on fishing anyway it’s a stressful environment!

Sounds like some inexperience here! Nothing like experience in operating ocean going vessels. I remember once when a young man I took a summer job on a off-shore fishing vessel as a 'baiter'. After 6 weeks of practice at every opportunity I became and was promoted to a 'Master' ..... LOL! ;);) It's a joke y'all .... it's a joke!!! You got to think about it a little bit!

My father used to own a boat.

One day he had it Out on the Ocean. When he got back to the dock he forgot to lock a drain valve in the plumbing system.

The next morning the management of the marina where he had it docked contacted him to let him know that his boat had sunk in 9 ft of water.

Apparently the water came back while his boat and sunk it I don't remember what it cost him to have the boat raised but I'm pretty sure it was an awful lot
