Picked up this beauty at an estate sale. Looks to be a late 80's Super Match build. Missing gas piston and gas plug as far as I can tell. Going to have smithy look it over before taking to range. Hoping some of the M1A guru's on here can help me figure out Mr. Nelson built it. I have emailed Springfield and Hart barrels. Hart can only go back to 1999.

Have your gunsmith check the bedding since Super Matches were specially bedded, and that bedding was known to deteriorate with use.
