Springfield SA-35 Hi-Power Evaluation & Testing Session 10 - Rebuild completed & .....

Love the SA 35.
I despise however the way the dealer network is gouging the public. MSRP $699.00...AND dealers demanding twice(sometimes 3 times)
that! If a customer wants one. That's not free enterprise! That's just plain greed and price gouging!

Disgusting

Definitely disappointing the way this gun has hit the market.

Welcome to the forum sandcastle.

I’ll admit to not watching all the videos in that series but that one was tough to watch with all the troubles that new gun is having.
I will say that gun that has gone through all that work is nice looking.

I watched two of the videos and that was plenty. I would have preferred a stock gun test, so I don't view this as a SA-35 test. I did get the point about the extractor being weak or suspect. If it is a problem, I would suggest Springfield fix it sooner than later. I still want one and imagine it may be January or February before I see one. I want it at the current MSRP or less.

They tested a stock gun in the last vid and it had repeated FTE's.

I want one also.

But, I'd take one if I won one in a contest, or if SA would sell a stripped frame & slide since with both I'd have to put as much $$ as the mrsp into it to rebuild it and make it a viable self-defense handgun that would run without any issues.

To each he/her/it's own.

We'll see how the Girsan MCP35 plays out.
