Starrett or Mitutoyo?

When you're getting some precision instruments, such as calipers or combination square sets, do you have a preference between Starrett or Mitutoyo? I'm in the market.

I prefer Starrett myself. I have three micrometers , 0-1" , 1-2" , and 2-3" plus a set like this ---> https://www.amazon.com/Starrett-C43...+square&qid=1609033020&sr=8-5&tag=googhydr-20

Like most everything else, they both have some good points and some bad points. As my long gone ol' grandpa would say ..... 6 of one, half dozen of the other!!!!
