Stephen A. Camps Hi Powers and Handguns

Sld1959

Ronin
Just got curious so I checked and happily found out they are keeping the late great Stephen. A Camps website up and running and even updated. A nice read and reference. He would have loved the resurgence of the Hi Power and the new variations.

He was a good writer and ardent advocate for the Hi Power who i met several times. I could not exactly call him a friend but a fine gentleman who always remembered you, or seemed to.

A very good read, thanks.

I sure miss Mr Camp. I wouldn’t presume to call him a friend but we exchanged several emails way back. He and I agreed on almost everything, which made him OK in my book!
I met him originally on the original Makarov.com, sadly now defunct, but I think still exists in strictly informational form. He was a Makarovnik which is what we called Mak enthusiasts. We exchanged emails a lot and I met him several times over the years. He was, a very knowledgeable gentleman and I am glad his work is available and hopefully still providing at least some minimal income to his widow. He was indeed, very ok :).
