well what fun today is.

i went to the range for the first time in like 2 weeks.

had a good time. came home, cleaned my 2 guns

took a nap.

when i woke up, came here to my 'puter....

and MS in thier infinite wisdom, did an update.....

but not any ordinary up date...oh no....

my browser needed a pass word.

ALL MY SITES need for me to login and i have to go thru a rolodex of websites with pass words i have to re-enter for each site.

i have all my passwords and websites address....

but did i have this site..???

oh nooooooooo...........maybe somewhere i have this site jotted down...........but it was not in my rolodex..........

dang stupid, stupid, stupid MS......

One way to correct this situation…….APPLE!!! Got iPhone, iPad and a Mac…….they all work great…..Windows based operating systems are out dated, only good ones they had was Windows 98 2nd addition, XP, Windows 7 was so so, just my opinion

i did want to buy that desktop they had, a "G" something or another, huge box, but like back then, nearly $4,000...then too back then, all my files as i recall, and pictures, would not transfer over to a new IMac..???

i am tempted for sure

That’s what the Notes app on your iPhone is for. It gets backed up on a regular basis. Not to mention you don’t need a password for Pornhub.

Unless you have a VIP membership and then….

Oh…awkward…

Just because you can’t remember the password is not Microsoft’s fault.

Maybe next time use an acronym password…… oh wait…… never mind.

No one pays $1000.

I have 2 iPhones and I didn't pay anything for either of them. There are 3 iMacs, 2 MBAs, 1 MBP and a tangerine original iMac G3. The first mac I ever bought was in 2006 and it's still running right now. Along with all the rest of them. All the music you hear and movies you see are made using Macs. They're just 1000 times more user friendly.
 
I have been a Mac user now for almost 2 years, it’s never been powered down, runs 24/7, only thing I did was to get a APC battery backup, where we live now if you fart sideways, power goes out, my iPad I got from Comcast a couple years ago, they had a promotion, you pay $5.00 a month for 24 months, my iPhone came with my plan at no charge, like Bob said all very user friendly

You should boot ( power down) your Mac over night or at least with some frequency so it can repair permissions. If you start having strange glitches, the first thing you should do is close all running programs and shut down/ restart your computer. If that doesn’t fix it, ask your wife. She used to be a Mac programmer. Oh, that’s probably just me. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

everything is supposed to be automatically saved in the "cloud"..when i went to access the "cloud"......no files could be found..??

like WTH..?????

so what i had done was restart the 'puter, and i got back everything. but why it even started up and was messed up in the first place, is a typical M$ mystery.

i am (or was) blaming M$ for the stupid update......not the password.

in fact, due to the stupid M$ update, all the sites required me to sign in again...

there simply was/is no need for such an update, of that magnitude. since this OS is being replaced by Win 11.
