Definitely not enough weight in that
“dog robot” to control recoil, I can’t help but wonder if @Annihilator has any information on how SkyNet dealt with that in early prototypes.

i think in time, this will only be perfected. i have said long ago, when i first started seeing this things from that Boston robotics company, that this most certainly has great military advantages. send in a few hundred of these into battle and if the enemy should capture one..??

What's disturbing is that western technology has ended up in Russian equipment which could be used against American military personel at some point in the future.

Ya know this really isn’t out of reach for regular civilians. You can already buy Boston Robotics robo dog for about 75k. It’s very similar. The Indian guy who owns Ghost Robotics who has sold these dogs equipped with NV to the DOD for border patrol/ drug smuggling has also sold some to the military. He said the price should drop significantly in time. He said, “ If we can’t get them lower than 50k we don’t know what we’re doing”.
These robo dogs are not autonomous and are basically 4 legged drones. It’s not a stretch to say that anyone with 100k in mad money could buy a robo dog and outfit it with a rifle on its back. I would think semi auto or maybe 3 rd burst. Ammo is heavy.
Anyone who thinks the Russians, the US and probably every other developed nation doesn’t already have programs designed around this technology is in a mental institution.
