I recently got the opportunity to get my hands on a Suomi kp/31 along with its stick and drum magazines. My question is;is it a good gun for self defense despite it being old as dust?
Suomi kp31 for home/car defense?

Presuming it is the semi-auto version? From what I have read they were made to exacting standards by the Finns. As heavy as they are and in 9mm it would be fun to shoot. I can think of more agile pistol caliber rifles but if it suits your tastes and is in good operating condition, why not?
