Super Bowl eats

Anybody have anything special they have on Super Bowl Sunday. I have not watched a sporting event on tv in three years but my wife has always made stew, my favorite meal. So that's what is on the plate today even though no game on TV.

The most sports I watch these days is local hockey and the annual Silver Sticks Tournaments.

On any given Sunday…Pizza. It hit a sunny 50° today, would have be nice if I planned for something on the Weber. In any case, No need to waste good food on a Woke-Bowl.

I was hoping for a Leave It To Beaver or Lost in Space marathon, might just have to channel surf…but leaving the extra tv‘s tuned on to anything else but the self absorbed pigskin follies so the network bean counters get the hint.

Well, I was going to watch it tonight, wife made sausage patties, with homemade macaroni salad, but then found out there is going to be 2 national anthems, which there is only one, so I will pass on the game and just eat, hate this stupid woke crap that’s around today

In all honesty on the “colored” anthem it was IMPOSSIBLE to understand what the singer was saying.

In regards to the “white” anthem it was fantastic.

i pan sizzled a big fat roast last night
it sat in fridge over night in crock pot with previous roast juices. cooked it for 8 hrs this morning/afternoon
tossed in carrots and red onions
mashed red potatoes, cut up fresh raw broccoli drowned in blue cheese dressing
3 peanut butter cookies , one beer . 2 cups coffee.
watched puppy bowl and only heard one national anthem.
bed comes soon, as 2 am comes faster.
