Suppressor on Saint Edge

Just shot my newly acquired suppressor. Worked great, but as I suspected the gun was pretty dirty after about 100 rounds - relative to just a brake. Will adjusting the gas block as per the Saint Edge manual mitigate some of that, or is it a fact of life?

The gas adjustment will only assist with proper cycling not how clean your rifle will be after shooting suppressed.

You will definitely see sooty carbon inside your receiver but this won't typically affect function of your rifle in any negative way. I shoot suppressed all the time including .22lr which is ridiculously dirty especially while shooting suppressed and I can shoot a couple thousand rounds of .22lr in a range session without an issue. The only thing negative to shooting suppressed is the added cleaning time.

Note:

I don't advise shooting with your suppressor in the wet configuration unless you want to covered in sooty water.
