I have always been skeptical of these Talon adhesive grips, after my brother kept telling how good they were, I finally gave them a try on my G17, best move I have made, really like them and tell others give them a try.

I haven't used nor tried any stick-ons. I usually add the rubber sleeved type as they're more comfortable and add size to the grip. I don't large hands that require this, it just makes it easier for the way I shoot. The backstraps help, but still add the slip-ons. For sig and DE I've been able to just change out the whole grip. I might give them a try though.

I like them but it can get expensive, especially if you shoot a lot. To save a few dollars I have purchased a few then traced onto a Manila envelope to get basic outline. Purchased a roll of grip tape and cut them out myself.

Talon grips are the first thing I put on to my poly guns.

I use them on my Ronin's front strap. Talon makes 1911 front strap stick-ons and they work well. I hate a 1911 with no checkering on the front strap...just can't afford a 1911 that has it.

Speaking of slip on grip. Does anyone know who makes the really thin slip on? Not packmeyer or hogue that I recall.
It’s about as thick as old bicycle tire inner tube.
