It is a little steep for a 96 page rag that is mostly full of advertisements. While itās a good magazine, for me, not worth $8.99, no magazine to me is worth that much for a single issue
I got lucky. Right after I purchased my Hellcat and registered it on SA.com, they offered the first 4 issues and I have been getting them ever since.I think I have only received one of these in the mail.
With my 2 year subscription to Recoil, they are about $7.50 an issue and they are packed with all sorts of information.Have you guys priced magazines lately. $8.99 isn't all that bad when compared to other narrowly taylored magazines. For example Bass Player Magazine will cost you about $4.50/issue if you pay for a year subscription.

$8.99 wouldn't be a deal breaker for me but considering the amount of content and the fact you can preview it all here or the website, they could lower that price point a little, in my opinion.
Regardless I do hope they continue to put them out. A lot of good stuff in them.
That makes total "cents"...Its for IRS tax purposes and the bean counters. They have to assign value for the ābooksā and P&L statements. Nothing less, nothing more.
We all know rags get discounted.
I wouldnt put to much stock in that price
