The 2021 Federal incom tax filing deadline is coming soon! Adding up all my annual reciepts for write off purposes. What a pain in the A**! Uhhhh! A wise man once said to me long ago. "Boy! Gain as much experience and knowledge in this world as you can! That's two things nobody can tax you out of!"

We finally got a decent refund after several years and then Momma needed colonoscopy and then a crown.

Oh, and I lost a crown yesterday as well. Dentist out of town so paid cash and got it glued back on. I guess it's only money.

Just had mine done today (4/7/21) and owed $10.00 to the IRS. Happily wrote out the check since it's been a very long time since I owed that small an amount. Then had to wrote a check to the preparer ..... let's just say it was some amount more than I paid the IRS.

I won't get on my soap box tonight, but it's just not right that any citizen, and especially retired, should have a tax return so damned complicated that he must take it to a CPA to get it right. But that's the way it's been for nigh onto 53 years.
