I listened to Pres Obama's last couple assertions in the video and wonder just how he arrived at them. He argued that he couldn't relate the reduction in gun crime to the abundance of guns in private hands as Taya stated, and he was trying to make a point that in those locations where gun laws were the most restrictive, gun related crimes had been reduced.
Where the hell does he live because he obviously hasn't been back to Chicago for some while!!!! Probably as strict gun laws as anywhere in this country, yet each and every weekend there are 10-20-30-40 or more shootings, and often almost that many killings.
And he is constantly trying to make the argument that Chicago has the large number of gun related crimes due to the surrounding states, predominately Indiana, having such lax gun laws and that guns are routinely brought in to Chicago from those surrounding states. What the hell are they thinking? If that were truly the case then common logic would expect gun related crimes would be as drastic in those surrounding states as they are in Chicago.
