Spent 3 hours today at the range teaching coworkers who are first time gun owners safety, cleaning and shooting their new pistols.
Sig 320 and a Springfield XD.
Great time and good to see enthusiasm for the sport and right to bear arms.
both had purchased due to defunding police, family protection and riot concerns.
set the stepping stones and they both enrolled in basic handgun classes today as well at the local range.

Oh, and they were both afraid of the big ‘ol .45 1911 SA mil spec.
Let them both fire it after fundamentals on their 9mm and took away the fear.
They loved it !!! Fired prob 4-5 mags each.
both said some sort of SA 1911 .45 is their next purchase. Range had some nice higher end options on the SA .45’s . 👍👍👍

Speaking of expensive SA guns.

I was at a range yesterday that was selling an SA professional 1911 .45 FBI for just over $3000.
