NRA Precision Pistol timed fire
It is a 400 MB video, I need to turn down the resolution on my phone :)

I didn't get a chance to ask them, they were shooting today.
The Centerfire shoot was today, it looked like they were shooting 1911's, likely in 45 as that can be used for the Center Fire as well as the 45 competitions. Both the shooters I saw were using a dot type sight of some kind.
It's a little hard for me to tell from 25 feet away especially with my OLD eyes.

If I see them at the awards ceremony tomorrow, I'll ask them.
I won't know who they are unless they have the Springfield team shirts on :)

great. if they are on team springfield i'd assume they'd be shooting springfield guns, but i don't know of any .22 caliber springfield guns. just curious.

Could be a Springfield 1911 with a 22 conversion, Marvel makes one with adjustable sights, Wilson Combat used to offer one, Colt also made a 22 LR conversions (and ACE 22 model)

Stumbled onto these videos while surfing-

Rob Leatham (Team Springfield) talks about the Nelson 22 LR 1911 conversion.
