Texas Trade Knife

Sld1959

Ronin
This went out to a friend in Texas. I called it the Texas Trade Knife. It's part of a blind trade we made. The rules are it must be something you were given or traded for. The steel was traded for, the wood is Texas Mesquite he sent me and the brass for the guard and pins came from a lantern from a wreck in the river.

Looks very nice! I'm not a big knife person, but do love good steel or steal ;):cool::cool:
Nice work !
Beautiful brother.
Beautiful work my friend

Thank you gentlemen. Knives have been a huge part of my life, studying designs, methods of making them and history of knives has been a passion since my grandmother gave me a butter knife and an Arkansas stone because I begged her to let me sharpen one.
