I'll speak from experience that the AMT hardball is terrible! It was the 1st 1911 I bought in '86 and it had an immense amount of ftf and fte.

Agree, also my first 1911 was the AMT government model, same issues, plus AMT’s suffered galling terribly

Even if I could get thru 1 mag without issues I couldn't hit nada with it. That turned me off if 1911's and 45acp's for decades until I bought a g21 (most already know my horrible back story ). I wasn't used to a projectile going 1/2 the speed of a 44mag round.

The one I had would shoot sub two inch groups off a rest, when it would feed and not jam
