Imagine an M-16A4-style rifle but with an 18-inch barrel. The Anderson Manufacturing A4 Short Rifle is just that. This unique setup is a blend of old and new. Let’s see how it performs.

I have one 18" AR (non-Anderson) and like it since its a handy barrel length.

BTW - contrary to the author I've never had a problem with Anderson Manufacturing products.

My .02

That M16 clone I just built for my pal was built on an Anderson lower with a PSA 20" upper. It's very accurate.
My SBR is an anderson lower and have never had an issue.
I’m not a full on Anderson fan for total gun, but “parts” here and there are fine. Like a car, not all parts are from 1 maker.

I have 3 Anderson lowers. Never had a problem with them. I don't have any other Anderson gun parts. I totally don't have a problem with their lowers and I would trust a LPK. Maybe a BCG because they probably are made by Toolcraft.
