It seems to be thst tine of year again. Turn the clocks back, change batteries in the detectors, change settings on automatic lights, and change handguns for cool weather carry.

Well that's not exactly true. Even in winter I often carry the snub in a jacket pocket.

I used to go through that process but decided carrying one of my 1911 pistols works (almost) just fine year around. Only when it's really hot and high monsoon humidity will I sometimes carry a polymer striker pistol.

And hunting season is right around the corner. Time to get my rifle tuned up and make sure it's still sighted in!

Its more a matter of change for change sake than anything else. Heck I have a dozen watch and wear a different one practically every day. I have different carry knives. I have three vehicles to choose from.

I guess I get bored easy, lol. Except for women, been married 44 years with no outside influences.

Yeah, it's those influences that get you in trouble everytime.....

Still pretty warm here, but relied on a Max 9 in the summer instead of a .380. I like my 911 too much to discard though.

In the heat of summer I can usually be found with a Shield .45 in an IWB under my t-shirt. If there is any chance I can wear a button down overshirt or a jacket I will be carrying OWB. Which means at least a 4" gun.
