Chevy Camaro Production Officially Ends

The Bowtie’s beloved muscle car is going away with no immediate successor in line.

If chevy is making an e-vette, then they should make an e-maro! When AF1 goes electric along with the motorcade and SS carries double barreled shotties................I'll think about getting an e-vehicle.
You know the E-maro is going to end up being an electric SUV.

The current Camaro is a cool looking car, but it is very tight inside and has appalling visibility over the shoulders and out the back.

i believe a Chevelle is coming out in a bit.......

at my age, and for whatever the price, i don't need a "midlife" or "alte life" crisis........

but, expect to see many in the bone yards, when the numbnuts buys them and cannot handle the HP....

As long as it DOESN'T have those coil over rear suspensions!

Well, I figured Chevy would also do this since Dodge has dropped the Challenger and Charger for the electric car crap to please all those green idiots and there so called global warming idiocies……pathetic

My cousin recently got a '67 fastback for $1200. Every piece, including the emblems and badges are there. He just has to put it together. He has owned body shops his whole life so that won't be a problem. He ALWAYS finds deals on cars. He has often sold those cars to me on the cheap. He once found a 1967 Sedan Deville with a 429 in an old lady's garage with 60k miles on it for $600. Which he sold to me for $600 and later it was stolen while I was visiting someone in the city. He also sold me a 1971 Coupe Deville and a 1969 Coupe Deville, both with 500s.

I forget where I was going with this.

I get you...I do this more frequently than I care to admit. :cautious:

First, EV sales are dropping like a rock. Some, like Toyota, are readjusting their expectations on EVs if not downright scaling production way back. This is what happens when a carmaker kisses up to the government which manufactures a fake market based, at least initially, on subsidies.

Second, according to Chevy Car USA https://chevycarusa.com/2024-chevy-chevelle-ss/ the Chevelle will start at $150,000! Personally, I think the Chevelle stuff is all propaganda but who knows what BS decisions are made in board rooms these days? Witness the return of the "Toyota" Supra. A BMW cosmetically altered and not a very good job at that. A Toyota salesman admitted to me that some owners could peel back the Toyota symbol on the engine cover to reveal the BMW logo. Pathetic.
