The 1911 Dragon Gun by Ed Masaki

Ed Masaki was a master pistol smith specializing in 1911s and a Precision Pistol (Bullseye) and rifle shooter.
He was the first Hawaiian on the US Pistol team.

Career Highlights
1951 - Earned first part of Triple Distinguished Shooter, his senior year at McKinley, with a 22 caliber rifle on 50-foot range targets.
Early 60s - Earned second part while in the Army Reserves with high power, M-1, 30 caliber rifle.

1993 - Made President's 100 at National Matches. Finished among top 100 of all competitors.

1995 - Completed the Triple Distinguished with a 45 caliber pistol at National Matches.

1999 - Member of winning United States Mayleigh Cup team.

He passed away Monday August 22nd 2022.
