Minnesota bites at #39, but at least we don’t have it as bad as our brothers and sisters in Illinois and California, et al.

I am fearful you are right, Hayes. It makes a good case for carrying additional ammo when you go beyond shoe leather distance from your base.

Interesting - seems like we may have dropped a spot or 2 - because our current governor vetoed some gun bills. Nothing has gotten thru (or will) our state legislature that restricts. I think we are in pretty great shape.

we are doing really WELL considering the influx Californians into Austin
they are a flucking strange bunch
open carry is good here, but LTC is the best for access to more places and faster gun purchases
they failed to mention the police cant cross your fence to get on your property without a warrant or expressed permission. only game wardens in pursuit of game related crimes can do this, and they better have real CAUSE

this article makes me want to go buy a new 1911

I'm happy to be here in MT. Well... not happy at the moment (too cold up here right now to feel "happy"). I was born and raised in WY, and have been MT since adulthood. So in my 56 years on Earth, I've lived in "rock star" states when it comes to guns. Speaking of "rock stars", our AG (Austin Knudesen) is so awesome when it comes to gun rights, as well as being very knowledgeable and experienced when it comes to firearms and shooting themselves. I've heard him on Gun Talk radio on multiple occasions. I would be shocked if any other state's AGs are as much of a powerhouse as he is. Between him and Gov Gianforte, MT is looking pretty solid for a while.
