On colder weathef and winter I wear a vest a lot especially under a windbreaker or leather jacket, usually both unzipped. I would wear it. Well make it a hoodie vest and I will wear it. A hoodie vest stays with the jacket as you put it on and take it off , almost like part of it.

Since retiring I wear Sketchers a lot around town , often my boots are just sitting in the vehicle. Thier mesh loafers are about as comfortable as any shoe I have ever worn.

That being said, this time of year, I’m typically wearing a Carhartt insulated duck vest over flannel or hooded sweatshirt in anything outside of a blizzard or well below zero; if that vest is moderately warm, I could see wearing it.
