The Keefe Report: Where All The Ammo

Over the years I have had many many people ask me why I buy so much ammo that I don't need that much. Now they are trying to buy it from me and most I tell NO. I just traded some 9mm for 6.5 CM. One of my bosses text me yesterday where can he get 9mm and 45 ACP. I reply HA HA if you find any I want some. But I know what he really meant (will you sell me some). He treats me really good so I did.

Personally I view it as plain a** lunacy.
You're primarily correct, but keep in mind that over the last half of this year, there were millions of NIC background checks done. Obviously not all were approved, but by far the majority were. And that increase in the number of firearms also increases the requirement for ammo. If each new gun this year bought only one box of ammo with the gun purchase, that's literally millions of boxes off the shelf over and above the regular needs. (y) :)

I haven't been the biggest NRA fan over the past few years, but I've got to give Keefe credit for honesty. I'm getting tired of others in the industry constantly claiming that things will start getting back to normal in a few months. It seems the CEO's of every retailer are either gullible enough to honestly believe that things will be better "next quarter", or they are just lying to shareholders.
