An enjoyable article on the revered M1 Garand. I love my CMP Garand which was made in 1941. The wood is a little nicked up but the metal parts are pristine. It is a very dependable, accurate and a joy to shoot.

Great post Anni. My M1 Garand is a 1940, with barrel replaced in 1945 by Springfield Armory. For a great look at the M1 Garand compared to the M14/M1A, watch Hickok45's review below (about 33 minutes, but well worth it). I shared his review with a buddy that's in a Facebook group of WWII Vets, Family, and History Buffs, and they all raved about his review.
