An informative look at the World War II submachine gun that ultimately replaced the iconic Thompson in the US military’s arsenal. The Thompson was a great weapon, but it was very expensive and took a relatively long time to produce. With the US economy supplying the material to fight a global war, including supplying much of our allies’ needs, a cost-effective alternative had to be found.

…roughly paralleled the British Sten gun - at least in its production advantages if not its intended purpose.
 
I so want one.

I’d take a semiauto version…that would get a SBR tax stamp so fast it wouldn’t be funny. Thread the barrel, put a can on it.

I’m at odds again.

I think the Sten and Grease gun are the ugliest things know to man. Along with the Luger… did I mention Turkish guns 😆😆😆😂😂😂😬😬😬😜😜😜
