3 versions, 13in and 16in barrel in 7.62 NATO for now, QD suppressor ready, folding stock, charging handle, ...
Got to shoot the real thing in Epping and it is quite nice! Will avoid the Experience Center store like the plague as it is too hard to resit. Although, I hear $4,200 starting price!

Meh.

I can get a MR762 for considerably less…
This, or their 716i.
Sig guns used by the military carry a “cool factor” upcharge.
Should be opposite seeing they make a mint off the DOD

Hans you know I'm a HUGE HK fan myself, what do consider "considerably" less? From what I've seen they run pretty darn close in price.

Then again I've got an HK91 and parts are still readily available.
Looks like $3,900 MSRP, so considerably less is all relative I guess. $300 is a non-negligeable chump of change for sure, but I don't know if I would call "4% cheaper" a considerable difference... Then there is MSRP vs. street price.

It's all astronomical, and by the looks of what can be bought, Omaha has these HK for pretty much the same as the MCX-Spear would go for if buying at MSRP. I understand it's not possible for everyone to go get it directly at SIG, but it is 100% doable in my case since SIG's flagship store is less than 45min away. No transfer fees, shipping, etc...

And then there's the $7,500 Long Range Package! Add a Tango6T to the MCX and you're pretty much there too. And I bet they still nickel and dime you for the scope mount that has to be bought separately!
