I remember a dear friend, and Vietnam veteran. He was very small in stature, and was made a tunnel rat. He told me his biggest fear was snakes. I could never have done that duty.

Very good post Anni. What a difficult and dangerous job that of a Tunnel Rat. I don't think I could have done that either. My hat's off and thanks for those that did and all veterans that served at any given time & place.

Good article Anni. I used to have some friends who very reluctantly told me a few stories about Vietnam. It really doesn't have anything to do with the 1911A1, but those guys went through some hell that's for certain.
