Okay I don’t see how that’s accurate when I lived in Arizona it seemed like almost everyone owned guns especially being a constitutional carry state. I’d say it’s more like per capita of 58%. Now living in Texas I’ll agree less people per capita own guns but I’d still venture to say it’s closer to 45% here.

Looks like KY is running at 42.4%, with a population of roughly 4.5 million. It states "Registered Guns: 81,058", but guns are not req'd to be registered in Kentucky. Would that maybe mean gun sales, via stores/FFL?

Considering this can only possibly be going off polls, since 4473 and background check records are inaccessible to the general public, I doubt it's accuracy. I'm reasonably certain that 30% for Missouri is way too low.

I'm a bit dubious of those figures. Just the number of registered guns alone is enough to cast doubt on the articles accuracy. In effect, my town owns all the guns in the state.
