Honestly?

Sometimes I wonder if it just wouldn’t make more sense to refer to cartridges by the metric dimensions...9x19, 11.25x23, etc...

It's interesting that I've notice quite a few articles that seem to be directed to new firearm owners. I find this to be a good thing, being directed at the many potentially new firearm owners during the recent buying surge. It can potential make them "safer" than if numerous unsafe incidents should befall them due to lack of knowledge. I could just hear the anti gun crowd exclaim "see, this is why guns need to be ban as being unsafe in peoples hands".
