I've been part searching for a tube mag plug screw for the 1895. Now that Ruger has taken over I get reverted too Marlins site for parts. I've tried hardware places, but haven't found out what pitch, diameter and size it is? It's smaller than a 4mm, but bigger than a 3mm. It somewhere between a # 6 and 8 with more of a fine thread pitch. 1/8" is close, but # 7 is just as close. Length is easy measuring, but less of the more issue of the earlier issue. Online searching gives me a big 0 on data and in stock results. Anyone able too help with a good direction!
