The Presentation Goes To. . .

Joe Walsh
Sure, Joe is beyond deserving, and is also one of my favorites. Possibly next year, or beyond.
I've actually played with Joe. Mid seventies, at a bonfire on the outskirts of Ohio University. This was pre-sobriety for both of us (Joe has three years on me). I thought I was high 'til he blew in! I remember it quite vividly; I doubt Joe does. . .

Alex has been a highly underrated player for far too long. All the members of Rush were highly consummate members of their craft.
Rush is my all time favorite band, went to many many shows.
My second is the first generation of Queensryche. Another band that has great storyline albums.

Saw Joe and the James Gang at a concert at UVA in the fall of 1970 along with BB King.

I’ve got a few stories like that. I hung with some guys in Long Beach who called themselves the Juice Bros back in the late 80s. They ended up being someone a little more famous. I got along real good with the drummer. Bud Gaugh. We both liked to drink a lot. I also hung on the strip with a lot of hair metal guys. And a few years earlier I lived next door to some of the guys from Morbid Angel in Tampa.
