Also as I recall, outside of the house/apartment/dwelling area most often is your vehicle, I believe the USCCA mentioned that. So house first then auto. Makes sense as that is where we usually are, if not at work or shopping/camping etc. I'll put in a plug here for training inside your house. FIRST, always first, ensure the firearm is unloaded - triple check it. Then walk through your house and go through scenarios in your mind as to what could happen. Go through your plan with your family.
