The Stealth Hunter - S&W's Modernized 1854

Checked out one of these in .44 mag at my fav LGS today. While non-traditional, looks like a nice "walk-in-the woods" lever gun, with a smooth lever function and decent trigger pull.

I do love leverguns, though I prefer traditional wood stocks. I’ve a 30+ yr old Marlin 1894 “Cowboy” (long octagon barrel) in .44 Mag and a dandy .357 Winchester 92 short rifle. I had an older 1895 Guide Gun in 45/70 that I let get away. I’m glad to see more leverguns showing up. I’m really lusting after that new 1873 in 9 mm….
