I will admit to being one of those arrogant kids who laughed at the old dudes with gray hair driving the Corvette or Super Bee. Never thinking they were the only ones who could really afford such things. And if being real, why would they not enjoy them same as I did, they were old not dead.

I just cannot bring myself to be what I arrogantly and stupidly made fun of.

Iwould love to drive one of thosr new Corvettes. But it would take 3 of you to get me out of it and upright again
I've been a hard-core, confirmed Chevy man/fan since before I was old enough to drive and/or get a license. But, I never had an inclination for a Vette. Don't know why, just never did. But this new one ... I don't know. It sure is intriguing, and like Mr Greener I'd love to give it a ride. I'm small enough I think I could get in and out myself, but my fear is after all these years of not liking them, I wouldn't want to get out!!!

The only Vette I have ever been in was a 79 model. It was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever been in. Plus it didn't have any power.
I know what you mean papa. The late 90's and early 80's is when the EPA began putting the squeeze on all the muscle car makers to start reducing the HP ratings in most common IC engines. It was basically the end of the 'muscle car' era, Corvettes included.
