Citizens of many nations around the Globe that have had a more intimate relationship with Tyranny/Communism are more "woke"/ defensive on the right to bear arms than some of us. They learned the hard way, and we will too if not proactive in our resistance to encroachment.

Am thinking the UN should likely either be disbanded or revised and that the organizations been infiltrated by the very ones it was supposed to be protecting other peoples from? Lest we forget to study and be taught history and remember it's examples?

Article states some very good historical examples of why people should not be disarmed that many should be able to refer to. The overidealisms of the one world order are basically tyrannical and just another distorted form of world domination in my opinion. Issue with that besides the obvious? Many world leaders are struggling with what countries they're supposed to be leading now, on a larger scale? Any different or likely worse and more out of touch? Look at current issues with the European Union? Why did UK mostly bail out of that?

It isn't just firearms to be weary of or be on guard for, words and laws can also be used as weapons and just as deadly in some ways if not more so. The Constitution, 2nd Amendment and other laws are there to help protect us, is it not illegal and possibly treasonous if someone goes against those laws?

Anni I certainly agree. This reminds me of the time that my oldest son was rebelling during his teenage years. I had to get the deed to the house out and ask him to find his name on it to underscore the fact that he had little say in his parents rules. Our founding fathers laid down the rules of our house, and until our Constitution gives the UN any official recognition then the UN has no authority to call the shots.

Mexico another country that controls legitimate gun ownership by its citizens so they can protect themselves but does next to nothing to control the cartel’s

They did, with urging and financing from American anti gun idiots. Possibly even American money. If we had real leaders our government would have immediately counter sued for trillions of dollars in damages caused by cocaine, heroin and ice.
