Personally way before the bone head play Anheuser-Busch pulled I had stopped buying any AB products due to the sell out to Inbev. I'd love to see the stock crash enough to allow Billy Busch to buy the company back. If I'm buy beer it is now a local micro or I'll drive 3-4 hours to a different state to be able to buy Yuengling beer.

my "beer of choice" has been Corona Lite for quite some time now. i know others, many others have strong opinions on it's taste, but i drink what I LIKE, and care less of others dislike for what i like.

also too, i do not buy beer all year long, nor do i drink beer all year long.

i am a diabetic, and i ain't even supposed to have beer.

how about they say, "with the inflation, high prices, beer sales are down much like sales of other things"?

look at eggs. with the bird flu constantly a battle the past few years, egg prices have gone from .89 a dozen to as much as $4.00 a dozen.

guess what, the wife and i DO NOT BUY high priced eggs....so are egg sales down for the prices or a general lack of eggs in the grocery section?

That article doesnt paint the whole picture. Beer has been on a decline for a long time.
Other categories have eroded the beer share
-Wine
-Spirits & mixed cocktails
-Ready to Drink (RTD) beverages like Smirnoff Ice, Truly, white claw, twisted tea (all malt based and High Noon(spirits based)

All of these for a decade + now have bitten i to beer hard. A-B fiasco didnt help

Suppliers, brewers, distillers and distributors are diversifying.
Brewery giants like A/B, MolsonCoors, and HeinekenUSA all have stake or own spirits or wine items in addition to non alcoholic brands like vitamin water, etc ..
Coors owns 3 whiskies now.

Adult Beverage companies have learned to diversify and not just singularly do beer, spirits or Non alc. they try to get you for one or the others and shopping $$$.

i was actually at a local liquor store, applying for part time work. i was talking with the owners, and she and her husband said that the younger crowd are indeed more into wine, and other flavorful "in drinks", over a poor man's tacky drink. thier beer sales are not as much now, as they said about as little as 5 years ago.

isnt beer READY TO DRINK?
i do miss my shiner bock, which is owned by the guy that gives us corona but he swore to not change a thing
Shiner bock has no affiliation to corona.
The distributor of corona in texas decided to distribute both brands.. but there is zero ownership interest between the 2
