It will be playing for around 4 bucks per person if I recall correctly.
Classic.

Great movie with one of the best sound tracks ever recorded. Where were you in '62?

As an aside, due to the lack of new movies, one of our local theaters is bringing back some old classics to fill space.
American Graffiti opens this weekend. 😁 Also coming are They Live, The Birds, Scarface and A Christmas Story. It'll be cool to see these on the big screen again. (y)

I finally saw More American Graffiti last year. VERY cool movie, and not everyone got a happy ending.

Our theater is playing it this weekend and I'm stoked. I haven't done a retro movie in years. The wife and I took the boys to the Goodfellas. Maybe 20yrs ago now ? People dressed up like the cast . It was a hoot watching the boys
( 15/16 ish ) faces.

Gosh, I remember seeing AG when it first came out.

It was but a few years ago that seen TCM showcased these Fathom Events and I would never heard these special one weekend only viewings of select timeless old movies. I don’t particularly like going to theaters anymore for many reasons, but Id expect these films are re-mastered to be better than their originals.

I’m still waiting for TCM to air Two Lane Black Top (1971).

Ah…remembering the days when you’d get the Friday newspaper to check movie or drive-in listings. Circling a few choices and promptly submitting your selections to the better half.
