This might be as good as it gets.

Stiches out finally, yay. I think I damaged a tendon when it got cut. This is as far as it straightens out and its mind if numb on top. Thinking the numbness might go away and the straining feeling when I try to straighten it.

Will try exercising it but as long as I can pull a trigger, shoot my bow and pick my nose I guess I can make do. It could have been worse

Sid- You've got some swelling there. When that subsides, you'll likely see improvement. I was a catcher for 14 years and had some banged up fingers from foul tips almost every year but, once the swelling went down, I was good to go. Just go easy on it for awhile and you'll be okay.
Professional ball? I caught fast pitch softball for a number of years a long time ago lol. The hands do take a beating.

No, not pro. Just regular hardball from age 8-22. Little League, Teener League, Legion League, and Twilight League. Was offered a shot at minor league A ball but wasn't interested because I had a good job that paid a lot more. I played with a few guys that made it to MLB but had short careers, no big names but great players nonetheless. I was happy to make All Stars several times but, I played for my love of the game, and that the catcher always had the best seat in the house, always seeing the entire field. Many fond memories!
