This Requires An Explanation

A man is charged with attempted murder and other felony charges however is not arrested and allowed to stay in his home????
The police say they don’t want to bust down his door and go in with possibly guns blazing. 🤦‍♂️

I’ll admit I don’t know Minnesota laws, but I’d think they border on those of a Communist state like California, New York and the other blues. If so, shouldn’t they have the infamous “red flag” laws in place? If so, perfect example of how well they work. Agree 100% with the CS gas comment…especially before another innocent gets hurt or killed.

Personally I blame the politicians. And I guarantee you if it was a crazy black guy who shot his white neighbor those same councilman complaining right now would have been dead silent. Can't blame the cops for not wanting to be prosecuted when they already know they're most likely gonna have to kill the guy.
And the shooter “A white guy” known to be mentally unstable, and I can hear the screaming for de-escalation yeah I get that but seriously do they let this guy possibly shoot more people?

If SWAT rushes in, somebody will die. Most likely the old man.
Nowhere in that article does it say that Police have left the scene. Basic stand off situation. No need to put officer's lives in jeopardy. Just wait him out. Keep some officers on scene and wait. He'll come out sooner or later.

So there was another news story going around a couple months back where a swat team waited one hour, then stormed in and I want to say an officer was hit and the suspect was killed. I was really upset at the situation since during that hour nothing changed, and I questioned why at one hour it was time to go in.

Having watched documentaries about different swat/hrt units around the country, a decade ago the thought process was to wait the person out if no one was in imminent danger. The goal was to not fire a shot. That thought process seems to have changed lately. I remember the series about the Detroit swat team they waited overnight until the bad. guy was tired of the loud speakers and gave up. No one was hurt and the officers to crazy overtime win win.

If the bad guy is surrounded and not a liniment danger to others what's the harm in waiting? Active shooters, hostage situations that's different.

I don't know why I find this funny, but one day they will get around to it. But in all honesty why would they rush in since the city council does not have their back?
A spokesperson said they have “every intention to arrest” him.

Bryan Malinowski v. John Herbert Sawchak. Ya I know feds. v. municipal police blah, blah, blah. A gun collector that may or may not have had questionable transactions, dead! v. a man that shot his neighbor,. Something is fouled up by the numbers in this country.

I just don't get their thinking, but bought and paid for blue judges are allowing this here.

Sad.

“ However, while Pullen remains free, he is prohibited from having contact with people in Will County except for his future court matters.”

Yes, because he OBVIOUSLY follows society’s rules. He’ll likely never be seen again until picked up on a warrant 5-10 years down the road after a traffic stop or something.

Wonder how many of his “friends” from Chicago are more than willing to go to Will County and “befriend” witnesses?

Typical for blue cities.
If you don't prosecute, crime stats are down.
