Threaded barrel for Loaded operator

Hello!

Have a loaded mc Operator that I want to put a threaded barrel on. Who would you trust and suggest to go through to have that done? This is for my obsidian 45 can.

Optics planet seems to have a decent amount of options available right now for a new threaded barrel. Swapping it out should be basic field stripping the gun and dropping the new barrel in.

Oh okay, ive always heard that 1911's require fitting.

Usually, i would recommend to check at your LGS. They usually have a list of competent smiths. Unless you are capable of doing the work yourself. Its usually minor but takes experience to identify the issue.

Not a gunsmith here, but I have found out in past experiences, even a drop in barrel will need some fitting.

Yeah, the barrel will require fitting to be worth anything, reliability and accuracy-wise...

I’d see if there is a reputable local smith that does 1911 work.
