For those of us still enjoying the original XD series...will these new threaded barrels from Springfield fit in original XD pistols? For example, an XD-45 so-called compact (shorter grip that the service model)" with a 4" barrel...will the XDM 4.5" threaded barrel fit properly within the XD frame and slide?
